Roma new boy Maxime Gonalons has expressed his desire to “answer the questions” that Eusebio Di Francesco is asking of him.
Gonalons is in line to make his third Roma appearance on Friday against Paris Saint-Germain, a team that the midfielder knows well from his spell with Olympique Lyonnais.
“I don’t know if I’ll play, but I want to play against PSG because I’ve faced them several times, they’ve not changed much and they’re very difficult to beat,” he was quoted as saying by Calciomercato.com.
“I feel good and my teammates are putting me in my best shape so I can express my characteristics in the best way, and our objective is to prepare well.
“There are good systems in place to work and the objective is to prepare for the various challenges that we’ll face during the season.
“Roma and Lyon? They’re completely different to one another. It’s like comparing Ligue 1 to Serie A, but I’m trying to adapt.
“The Coach insists on asking questions that he considers important and I’m trying to answer them in the best way.”
