Sampdoria have no deal with Napoli for Duvan Zapata (who could go to Sassuolo), Lorenzo Tonelli or Ivan Strinic, but are “working on” Munir.
President Massimo Ferrero spoke to Sky Sport Italia following this afternoon’s meeting between the two clubs.
When asked if they had agreed terms for Zapata or Strinic, he replied “no,” but Tonelli was met with “we’ll see.
“There will be more meetings.”
Sportitalia note that Sassuolo are intercepting this triple deal with a proposal for centre-forward Duvan Zapata, who just returned from a two-year loan spell at Udinese.
Ferrero was also asked about the situation with Barcelona winger Munir El Haddadi.
“We are working on it.”
Finally, he commented on Patrik Schick’s completed transfer to Roma.
“It was a day of great sadness yesterday, but also of great joy, because he is a great player, Roma wanted him and he’ll continue the career of a champion.”
