Leo Baptistao “thinks Roma are a fascinating club and we’re a bit worried” about his current situation at Espanyol, revealed his agent.
The 25-year-old can play as a centre-forward and on the right side of an attacking trident, but is currently out of action with a muscular issue.
“Monchi has not called me, but he’s liked Leo since he was director of sport at Sevilla,” agent Javier Rangel told Pagine Romaniste.
“Leo likes Roma too, he thinks it is a fascinating club. He is happy at Espanyol, but the club promised him a new contract and we’ve heard nothing in the last four months, so we are a little worried.”
What would be the price-tag for Leo Baptistao?
“We’d have to talk to Espanyol.”
He has been in Spain since 2008, playing for the likes of Atletico Madrid, Real Betis, Rayo Vallecano, Villarreal and since last season Espanyol.
