Maran: ‘Exciting Chievo-Roma’

Rolando Maran expects to see “end-to-end stuff” between Chievo and Roma, as they try to shake off a 5-0 defeat to Inter.

It kicks off on Sunday at 11.30 GMT, click here for a match preview.

“My team always works hard and I cannot complain when there is just one off day, like we had at San Siro against Inter,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

Lucas Castro, Perparim Hetemaj and Nicola Rigoni are out of action, while Massimo Gobbi and Manuel Pucciarelli have shaken off flu symptoms.

Ivan Radovanovic returns from suspension to bolster the midfield.

“It’s not right to talk about those who aren’t here, because any member of this squad is suitable to play in Serie A and can be used at any time.”

Roma saw their record run of Serie A away victories end with a draw at Genoa after going down to 10 men.

“Both Roma and Chievo have it in their mentality to push forward and not sit deep, so if we have the right courage, I think we’ll see end-to-end stuff.

“We must fight it out on every ball.”
