Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali insists “we’ve had no requests from Napoli” for Domenico Berardi.
It had been suggested that the forward could join the Partenopei next summer, while Roma are also thought to be interested.
“I can say that we’ve had no requests from Napoli,” Carnevali said on Radio Bruno.
“The lad is at work to return to his levels, but he can’t be distracted by transfer market rumours, otherwise he risks not being at the level you need for a big club.
“In January we’re not thinking about sales, we need to reinforce but we’ll hold on tight to our strongest players.
“Roma? There’s absolutely nothing with the Giallorossi. Maybe we’ll talk about it for next season.”
