Inter have won the Primavera Supercoppa, defeating Roma 2-1 after extra time at San Siro.
The competition is played between the winners of the youth league and the youth Coppa Italia, and the Giallorossi beat Inter 4-0 last season.
Facundo Colido opened the scoring in today’s match, but Andrea Marcucci equalised with an excellent lobbed finish.
The sides couldn’t be separated in the remaining minutes, and the match went to extra-time.
Just when it appeared the match would be heading to extra-time, Colido nipped in ahead of Andrea Ciofi to put his side back in front.
Tensions threatened to boil over, and Marcucci was shown a red card for repeatedly protesting to the referee.
