HT: Roma 0-0 Torino

Roma started brightly enough, but a late charge from Torino saw Alisson called into action as both sides go into half-time goalless.

The Giallorossi were brimming with rediscovered confidence after a shock 4-2 victory atleaders Napoli but were also trying to focus on turning around the Champions League Round of 16 with Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday.

Some decisions were forced upon Coach Eusebio Di Francesco, as Edin Dzeko and Federico Fazio were suspended, with Gregoire Defrel and Rick Karsdorp injured, so Patrik Schick got a chance to shine.

Toro were in crisis after back-to-back defeats against Juventus and Verona, missing Adem Ljajic, Lyanco, Joel Obi, Cristian Molinaro, Kevin Bonifazi and suspended Nicolas Burdisso.

Toro won here 2-1 in December to knock Roma out of the Coppa Italia, but that was when Sinisa Mihajlovic was still in charge.
