Batistuta makes Roma pledge

Diego Perotti treated the Roma squad to an Argentinean barbecue today and Gabriel Batistuta promised to cook if they reach the Champions League Final.

The Giallorossi celebrated last night’s 2-1 Serie A victory over Genoa and began preparations to take on Liverpool in Tuesday’s first leg clash.

They took a break at the Trigoria training ground and striker Perotti, who has been out injured for a few games and resumed training today, put on his chef’s apron for the occasion.

He treated the team to some asado – Argentine barbecue – and the event was covered by the Instagram accounts of several players, including Radja Nainggolan.

It was spotted by former Roma hitman Batistuta, who sent a message to Perotti.

“If Roma reach the Champions League Final, I’m coming to Trigoria and will cook lunch for the whole team.”
