Over 10,000 Belgium fans have signed a petition for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan to be called up for the World Cup.
Nainggolan was controversially overlooked for the World Cup by Belgium boss Roberto Martinez, who has previous with the 29-year-old.
Consequently, one Red Devils supporter opted to take matters into his own hands by petitioning for the Giallorosso to be selected.
“Belgium needs Radja to [go] the World Cup in Russia! One of the best and most important players [in] the Belgian team!” read the plea on Change.org.
“The Coach deprives an entire nation of one of his best players over some differences between himself and the player? This isn’t normal!”
It is the second petition to involve a Serie A player or club in less than a week after Juve fans requested the black patch beneath the Jeep logo on the club’s new home shirt to be removed.
