Inter director Piero Ausilio denied Mauro Icardi or Samir Handanovic will leave, but confirmed interest in Radja Nainggolan and Matteo Politano.
Ausilio spoke to Sportitalia cameras after leaving a dinner meeting in Milan this evening and was asked about some of the transfer stories of the day.
These include goalkeeper Handanovic as a target for Napoli and a potential exchange between Icardi and Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain.
“There’s no truth in Handanovic to Napoli. Icardi will not be leaving, absolutely not.”
Is it true that Inter like Sassuolo forward Politano?
“We like lots of good things.”
Luciano Spalletti reportedly asked for a reunion with Roma midfielder Nainggolan and Ausilio’s response was interesting.
“It’s not just Spalletti who likes him.”
However, when it comes to Joao Cancelo and Rafinha making their loan moves permanent from Valencia and Barcelona, the director was pessimistic.
“Hope is the last thing to go…”
