Alisson Becker confirmed he is “working on some possibilities, together with Roma,” and wants his future sorted before the World Cup.
The goalkeeper spoke to UOL Esporte after a friendly win over Austria, as the Selecao continued their warm-up for the tournament in Russia.
“What I want to do is get everything worked out before the World Cup,” Alisson told reporters.
“To be honest, I left the responsibility for all the negotiations to my agent. If it’s not resolved before the first game against Switzerland, then it’ll have to wait until after the World Cup.
“My thoughts are 100 per cent focused on the Brazil team.”
Alisson was asked specifically if rumours of interest from Liverpool and Real Madrid were true.
“There are some possibilities and we are working on all of them, together with Roma, always respecting the club. We’ll see if anything happens this week.”
