Hellas Verona midfielder Romulo is in talks with both Lazio and Roma, confirmed his agent, with Sao Paulo and Internacional offers too.
The 31-year-old is set to leave Verona following their relegation into Serie B and his contract is due to expire next summer.
“The player is very much appreciated in Italy,” agent Alex Firmino told lalaziosiamonoi.it.
“We were talking to Lazio when suddenly Roma got in on the act. Perhaps they didn’t know that there is a release clause (allowing him to leave for free in case of relegation), but they are interested and were asking for information.
“The Lazio route isn’t off, but they are no longer on their own. We currently have two formal offers from Sao Paulo and Internacional de Porto Alegre.
“We are evaluating and over the next few days I’ll come to Italy for talks.”
