Milan’s Suso reveals there have been ‘four or five’ offers for him this summer but the Rossoneri have turned them all down.
The 24-year-old has been at San Siro since 2015, when he signed from Liverpool.
His performances for the club have seen him linked with a number of clubs around Europe, but the Spaniard insists he ‘loves’ his current team.
“We had various offers, four or five,” Suso said during a long interview with Marca.
“But the club was not prepared to negotiate. I always say I love Milan and my family is very happy.”
Suso added that, with Milan now under new ownership, he may soon renew his contract at the club once again.
“With the new owners, we will sit down again to discuss another renewal. I renewed in November and there might be the opportunity to do it again.
“Although Juventus are dominating at the moment in terms of titles, you feel and know that Milan are one of the best clubs.
“It makes me happy to say I’ve been an important player for Milan.”
