Walter Mazzarri hints at some radical changes to Torino as they visit Roma tomorrow. “After the game I’ll explain why I made certain choices.”

“Roma are a strong side, but we have to focus on our own performance. If we play the way we know how and are more consistent in front of goal, then we can have our say,” insisted the Coach in his Press conference.

Changes are forced with Soualiho Meite and Armando Izzo suspended, Daniele Baselli and Emiliano Moretti injured.

“For a few weeks now we’ve not turned performances into results, so I expect better tomorrow, even though we are missing a few players.

“It’s not necessarily the case that we’ll use the same tactical system we’ve had in recent weeks. I don’t want to give away too many clues to a fine Coach like Eusebio Di Francesco, but you’ll see and maybe after the game I’ll explain why I made certain choices.

“We’ve brought along some talented youth team players and the intention was always to start bringing these lads up into the senior squad.”

The year did not get off to a good start for Toro, who crashed out of the Coppa Italia with a home defeat to Fiorentina.

“We were left angry by that Coppa exit and I want to see an immediate reaction on the field, turning that into positive energy. We do most things right and just need to remove that 10 per cent of naivete in our performances.”

Torino squad for Roma: Ichazo, Rosati, Sirigu; Aina, Ansaldi, Bremer, De Silvestri, Djidji, Ferigra, Lyanco, Nkoulou; Adopo, Berenguer, Lukic, Parigini, Rincon; Belotti, Edera, Falque, Millico, Zaza
