Genoa have confirmed Antonio Sanabria’s arrival on an 18-month loan with an option to buy.
Sanabria’s contract was already deposited with Lega Serie A on Saturday, and Genoa have now announced the details of his transfer.
“Genoa Cricket and Football Club announce they have signed Antonio Sanabria from Real Betis Balompie, on loan with the option for a permanent transfer,” read a statement.
“The international has signed a contract until June 30, 2020 and has been given the No 9 shirt.”
The Grifone’s option to buy has reportedly been set at €20m, while Roma are entitled to 50 percent.
The striker, who was named a substitute for Genoa’s Serie A match against Empoli on Monday, wrote on his Twitter account: “It closes a stage in my life where I went through all kinds of moments, but I’ll stick with the good ones.
“I thank my colleagues for the great farewell they gave me and the fans for always being there and putting their faith in me.”
