James Pallotta denied reports he met with Paris Saint-Germain President Nasser Al-Khelaifi about the possibility of selling Roma to Qatar Sports Investments.
The Giallorossi President told RomaPress today that he has “never met Al-Khelaifi” after a story was published in Italian news agency Adnkronos claiming that the pair met in April.
QSI has recently been heavily linked with the potential purchase of the capital club, as Pallotta was reportedly considering selling due to difficulties in building a new stadium.
The article claims that the meeting apparently took place in Rome in the middle of April, but Al-Khelaifi wasn’t willing to deal at the price Pallotta wanted, although it also claimed that negotiations could reopen after the end of the season.
