Torino take Lyanco off the market

Torino are refusing to sell Brazilian defender Lyanco, despite reported interest from Napoli, Roma, SPAL and Genoa.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Coach Walter Mazzarri wants the centre-back to stay with the Granata and considers him off the market.

The 22-year-old is currently with the Brazilian U23 squad, who are competing in the Toulon Tournament in France.

Toro splashed out €7m to sign the defender from Sao Paulo in 2017, and he has made just 10 appearances for the club.

However, he impressed during his loan spell at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, scoring once in 13 games for Bologna.

Meanwhile, Napoli, Roma, SPAL and Genoa are all reportedly interested in the youngster.
