Inter, Milan, Atalanta, Roma and Napoli are battling Sevilla for €20m-rated Stade Rennais midfielder Benjamin Bourigeaud.
According to the Spanish daily sports paper Estadio Deportivo, Inter, Milan, Atalanta, Roma, and Napoli are all interested in the former France U20 international.
La Liga side Sevilla had appeared to be in the lead for the Frenchman’s signature, as their sporting director Monchi was pushing for a move.
However, the Ligue 1 club reportedly want €20m for him, too high a fee for the Andalusian side, who are only willing to offer €12m.
That hesitation leaves the door open for a possible move to Italy, with several Serie A clubs ready to pounce.
The 25-year-old joined Rennes from Racing Club Lens in 2017 for €3.5m and scored 21 times in 93 games while providing 17 assists during his spell at Roazhon Park.
