Amadou Diawara’s camp are expected to meet Roma again tomorrow after talks on Thursday failed to yield a breakthrough.
Napoli are happy for Diawara join Roma as part of the deal that brings them Kostas Manolas, and the midfielder’s representatives met this afternoon to negotiate personal terms.
It was then reported by Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttomercatoweb that a five-year contract worth €1.8m a season had been agreed.
However, RomaPress cites a source close to the 21-year-old that claims no agreement was found, so another summit is likely to take place on Friday.
Despite that, the website is confident the Guinean – who is currently at the Africa Cup of Nations – will eventually sign for the Giallorossi.
