Olympique Lyonnais have agreed terms a transfer for Sampdoria defender Joachim Andersen at a cost of €25m plus €5m in add-ons.
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the deal is done and the final details were worked out this evening.
The Denmark international is expected to undergo a medical over the next 48 hours.
A 23-year-old centre-back, Andersen had also been heavily linked with Inter, Milan, Roma, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
Lyon won out with an offer worth €25m plus another €5m in performance-related bonuses.
It’s an extraordinary profit margin for Samp, who only purchased Andersen from FC Twente in 2017 for €1.5m.
