Belotti: ‘No mean feat for Torino’

Andrea Belotti said Torino should celebrate their 2-0 victory away to Roma. “It’s no mean feat to win here with a clean sheet.”

Il Gallo bagged both goals, blasting in on the stroke of half-time and converting a penalty for Chris Smalling’s handball.

“I don’t want to stop here, as I have a long road ahead of me and want to keep scoring goals for Torino,” he told DAZN.

“I have to keep working, as it’s only with hard work that you get the ball in the net.

“My brace was thanks to the performance of the whole team, as Salvatore Sirigu did a great job with his saves and the defence also kept the Roma chances to minimum.”

Torino had lost their last nine Serie A trips to Roma, conceding 27 goals, not winning here since 2007.

“It’s certainly no mean feat to win here with a clean sheet, so we should celebrate it. We know that we have to be even more determined and keep a cool head, something we haven’t really done enough in the first half of this season.”
