Roma are reportedly trying to offload Cengiz Under to help fund a move for Inter midfielder Matteo Politano.
Corriere dello Sport claims that the Giallorossi have given a FIFA agent the task of finding possible suitors for the Turkish winger, who has been struggling to establish himself in the starting line-up this term.
Roma coach Paulo Fonseca has proven to prefer Nicolò Zaniolo at the right wing and Under has been limited to a mere 283 minutes in Serie A 2019-20.
His absence has also been due to injuries, but the newspaper claims the Turkey international could generate the needed resources to help Roma get their former academy player Politano from the Nerazzurri.
The 22-year-old came from Istanbul Basaksehir in July 2018 and his current contract at the Olimpico expires in June 2023.
The report states that Roma are also looking at Fiorentina midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli as an alternative, if they can’t come to an agreement with Inter about a possible move for Politano.
