Roma fly out for Januzaj

Roma representatives reportedly flew out to Spain for negotiations with Real Sociedad attacking winger Adnan Januzaj, on loan with option to buy.

According to Sportitalia, Sky Sport Italia and more, Giallorossi chiefs are in Spain today for advanced negotiations.

The player is valued at approximately €12-15m and it just needs to be worked out how much will be a paid loan and the cost of an option to buy.

A replacement is needed for Nicolò Zaniolo, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee.

Januzaj will turn 25 next month and has also been linked with Milan, should they sell Suso in the January transfer window.

His contract with Real Sociedad is due to expire in June 2022 and he has been at the club since the €8.5m move from Manchester United in the summer of 2017.

So far this season, Januzaj has contributed four goals and four assists between La Liga and Copa del Rey for a total 13 competitive games.
