Mirante surgery successful

Roma goalkeeper Antonio Mirante underwent minor knee surgery today, confirmed the club.

Mirante aggravated an old knee problem during a training session on Monday.

After undergoing medical tests, it was determined that the 36-year-old needed an operation to clean the meniscus.

Today the club confirmed that the minor operation was successful, and that Mirante will begin rehabilitation from tomorrow.

The former Juventus and Parma goalkeeper has made three appearances for Roma this season.
