UEFA have announced the referees for this week’s Europa League fixtures, where Georgi Kabakov will oversee Roma-Gent and Carlos del Cerro Grande will officiate Ludogorets-Inter.
The Giallorossi and the Nerazzurri prepare for their first legs in the last 32 of the Europa League this Thursday, when Inter travel to Bulgaria and Roma will host Belgian KAA Gent.
The Bulgarian match official Kabakov prepares to lead the teams out of the tunnel at the Olimpico this Thursday and will bring experience from the Champions League earlier this term.
He was in charge when Real Madrid drew 2-2 against Club Brugge at the Santiago Bernabeu and when Tottenham beat Olympiakos 4-2 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in November.
Del Cerro Grande is another official who will take a step down from the Champions League this campaign, as he oversaw four games in the group stage of the elite tournament this term – including Napoli’s 1-1 draw at Anfield on November 27.
