All games in Serie A and European ties involving Italian teams at home have been played behind closed doors for the last several weeks, as Italy struggles to contain the Coronavirus.
Roma travel to Seville for the Europa League Round of 16 first leg on Thursday, and the game has officially been announced to be played behind closed doors.
Spain’s Ministry of Health made the decision this evening.
The return leg in Rome will also be held behind closed doors.
