Transfer market moved by coronavirus?

The coronavirus pandemic is transforming the entire football calendar, which could also mean the transfer market opening and closing later too.

All the major European leagues are shut down while the crisis takes hold in this continent, while football in China and America has also ground to a halt.

It’s increasingly likely that Euro 2020 will be postponed in order to allow domestic leagues, the Champions League and Europa League to conclude by the end of June.

With that in mind, the transfer market could also be pushed back from the start of July to August instead, running into mid-September, suggests newspaper La Nazione.
