Lazio and Parma are eager to bring Juventus defender Daniele Rugani back to Serie A, midway through his loan with Stade Rennais.
The 26-year-old was sent to France on loan in October after struggling for playing time in Turin.
His situation hasn’t really improved their either, with just two competitive games for the club, largely due to thigh issues.
According to Sportitalia, Lazio and Parma have asked Juve about picking up Rugani in the January transfer window for the remaining six months of that loan.
Lazio are seeking a defender after news Luiz Felipe would be out until March following ankle surgery.
Parma are also looking towards Roma’s Federico Fazio, but are put off by his wages.
