Roma defender Chris Smalling is out of this weekend’s clash with Juventus after sustaining a thigh injury.
According to the latest reports from Sky Sport Italia, the centre-back has been diagnosed with a lesion to the flexor in his left leg.
This will certainly keep him out of the Serie A showdown with Juventus.
Depending on the severity of the lesion, it could be a couple of weeks on the treatment table.
It has been a tough campaign for the 31-year-old, as Smalling had an ankle sprain, inflammation of the knee and even food poisoning.
