Roma keep tabs on Lacazette

Roma, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid are all in the running for Arsenal forward Alexander Lacazette, who will be a free agent next summer.

He turns 30 in May and his contract is due to expire in June 2022, making a departure very likely unless the Gunners want to risk losing him as a free agent.

That would be a remarkable turnaround considering they paid Olympique Lyonnais €53m plus bonuses in 2017.

Lacazette has scored 13 goals in 34 competitive games so far this season, along with three assists.

According to ESPN, The Sun and others, negotiations for a new contract haven’t even started yet, leaving the door open for long-term admirers Roma, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla.

His versatility is an attractive quality, as the France international can play in any of the three attacking roles, as a centre-forward, on the right or left.
