Jose Mourinho’s impending arrival in Rome has been celebrated by a mural depicting the incoming coach riding a Vespa appearing in the Testaccio neighbourhood of the Capital.
The mural was created by the street artist Harry Greb and represents the Special One driving the iconic Vespa.
Mourinho will make his return to Italy 11 years after leaving Inter. He has signed a three-year contract with Roma.
“I immediately understood the full extent of their ambitions for Roma,” the Special One said after his appointment on Monday.
“It is the same ambition and drive that has always motivated me and together, we want to build a winning project over the upcoming years.”
Tottenham will pay part of his salary in his first season in the Capital.
