Francesco Totti’s movie has won the David di Donatello – the Italian version of the Oscar – for best documentary film.
The Roma legend looked back over his life and career for the film, called ‘Mi Chiamo Francesco Totti.’
Director by Alex Infascelli and shown outside of Italy too, it won the David di Donatello this evening.
Totti also participated in a comedy-drama re-enactment of his life, focusing largely on the final years at Roma and his clashes with coach Luciano Spalletti.
That was called ‘Speravo de Mori Prima’ and was made by Sky Italia.
